an experimental noise duo from Vilnius, Lithuania. Two instruments – turntable and alto saxophone in a very unusual role: turntable is used as instrument, very rich of expression, just as saxophone is on the edge between acoustic and electronic sound, so in the end you cannot tell which instrument is doing what. This music will take you to many places blending meditative soft noise, elegant melody lines, almost unrecognizably damaged 100 years old vinyls, interactive and intimate conversations between sax and turntable, hard glitchy sounds, looped experimental beats and extremely extended techniques of both instruments. Every show of this duo is different, each time bringing different qualities of unique and mesmerizing sound.
Michael Fischer works on the speech immanence of sounds on saxophone, violin, soundscapes and conducted instant compositions.
In 1999 he started implementing the electro-acoustic phenomenon feedback in his work, developing the feedback_saxophone, based on a non-effect, analog set-upfurther elaborated at the ZKM Karlsruhe and presented at ZKM’s ‚Globale‘-Festival. Exploring the common grounds of poetic manifestations within the different media/art-forms he has ongoing extensive collaborations with writers in contemporary experimental poetry, worked with artists in experimental movie, op-art, conceptual art, video such as Marc Adrian, Gerhard Rühm, Dmitri Prigow, Lore Heuermann, Eileen Standley and performance labs like Baby-q dance comp. Kyoto, TheMeetingPoint Amsterdam or Liz King/Dance.ID.
He collaborated with John Edwards, Marc Sanders, Sarah Brand, William Parker, Denis Charles, Irene Schweizer, Michael Vatcher, Daisuke Terauchi, Ken Okami, with Marcos Baggiani, argentinien drummer in the duo BAGG*FISH since 2004, and since 2016 in collaboration with polish composer/performer/media-artist Franciscek Araszkiewicz a.m.o.
As instant composition conductor, he works with international improvising orchestras / choirs f.i. for Wien Modern, Festiv. Internacional de Improvisación Madrid, Peabody Institute/Johns Hopkins Univ. a.m.o.

Vinicius Cajado
Vinicius Ciccone Cajado is a musician with no boundaries between styles. Raised in São Paulo ,Brasil, his unique approach to the bass led him to win the jazz performance and award with honors of most creative and unique playing at the International Society of Bassists competition (Prague, Czech Republic). He has performed in many festivals including Saalfelden Jazz Festival, Jazz and the City Festival Salzburg , Jazzwerkstatt Vienna, 20 Years of Curva Minore Palermo, Studio SP and Studio RJ (now Blue Note rio) Brasil, Porgy & Bess Vienna, The Kitchen NYC and also international tours in many different continents.
Besides performing his spectrum of work included sound engineering, composition for film and theater, and also was musical director, choir conductor and arranger in Escola Mobile (Sao Paulo, Brasil) in a project that is focused on teaching teenagers history, theater and music. Additionally, Vinicius had the pleasure to perform with Barre Phillips, Wolfgang Puschnig, Mark Dresser, Savina Yannatou, Gerald Preinfalk, Vienna Improvisers Orchestra, Bassmasse, Daniel Schnyder and Young Bruckner Orchestra, Mauricio Takara (Sao paulo underground), Sebastian Gramss, Leila Boudreuil, Raashan Ahmad, Michael Fischer, Alegre Correa, Alessandro “Bebe” Kramer, Koenig, Andreas Lindenbaum, Mahan Mirarab and Fabian Rucker. The musician, also was artist in residence at the Leopold Museum Vienna with Klub Bahoe, (poetry slam and music) and opened Andy Warhol’s and Basquiat exhibition in vienna’s art forum, which also counted with members of Velvet Underground in the line-up.
Vinicius’s playing, technique, tone and sound is a mixture between lots of different styles, and all of this extended by the immense color palette that is improvised music. The Bassist uses traditional and unconventional techniques, to make the tradition new, and also cut any borders that have been created in modern music in order to make the stage an organic space of interaction.

Seit mehr mehr zwei Jahren spielt sich das Trio Flunger Damian Lacina durch die Wiener Szene und bringt Überraschendes und Ungeahntes und wirbelt die Musikwelten durcheinander.
Allein das Instrumentarium ist schon hörens- und sehenswert: ein Toy Piano mit einigem an elektronischen Effekten, ein Piano natürlich auch…, eine liebevoll zusammengestellte Perkussionsschrott Sammlung liefert das Schlagwerk und ein zwölf Seiten Bass bringt das entsprechende Fundament…
Bisherige Aufritte gab u.a in der Sfiema (SOCIETY FOR SOUND ART, FREE IMPROVISATION AND EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC ) Konzertreihe im Cafe Korb, im KunstBetrieb im 18. Bezirk, beim Improfestival 2 in Währung und im Kunstraum Ewigkeitsgasse.
elisabeth FLUNGER:
Elisabeth Flunger stammt aus Südtirol, hat Musikwissenschaft, Ethnologie, Schlagzeug und Komposition studiert und lebt in Wien. Sie beschäftigt sich mit improvisierter und komponierter zeitgenössischer Musik, als Solistin und mit Ensembles wie Klangforum Wien, die reihe und United Instruments of Lucilinin, sowie in Zusammenarbeit mit Musikerinnen verschiedener Stilrichtungen. Außerdem arbeitet sie als Performerin, Komponistin und Musikerin in Theater- und Tanzproduktionen und hält Improvisations- und Kompositionsworkshops für Kinder und Erwachsene. Gelegentlich konzipiert sie Klanginstallationen, auch in Zusammenarbeit mit Video und bildender Kunst.
Ihr Lieblingsinstrument ist eine Ansammlung von Metallobjekten, die sie in Konzerten, Rauminstallationen und Performances verwendet. Für dieses Instrumentarium hat sie spezielle Spieltechniken entwickelt und eine Reihe von Solostücken komponiert.
Abgeschlossenes IGP-Studium an Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien, sowie abgeschlossenes Konzertfachstudium am Konservatorium Prayner.
Teilnehmerin an div. Kursen für Neue Musik, wie den Wiener Tagen der Zeitgenössischen Klaviermusik und der Impuls-Ensembleakademie. Unterricht bei Harald Ossberger, Manon-Liu Winter, John Tilbury, Ian Pace.
Uraufführungen zahlreicher Kompositionen u. a. von Tamara Friebel, Matthias Kranebitter, Katharina Klement.
Mitglied der Improvisationsensembles ctrl (gemeinsam mit Bernd Klug, Meike Melinz, Bernhard Schöberl, Gabi Teufner) und lsd (gemeinsam mit Daniel Lercher und Bernhard Schöberl), sowie des Improvisationsorchesters ÖNCZkequist.

ist ein Wiener Musiker im Jazz und -Improvisationsbereich und spielt Akustik-und 12 String Bass. Er ist Mitglied der SFIEMA (Society for Free Improvisation and Experimental Music Austria) und ist aktives Mitglied des Kunstraum Ewigkeitsgasse mit eigener Konzertreihe und auch Mitglied in der IG Bildende Kunst.
Lacina spielt häufig Konzerte im Celeste, Wiener Künstlerhaus, Porgy&Bess, Forum Stadtpark Graz, in der alten Schmiede und in vielen weiteren Spielstätten und tritt auch im Rahmen von “Wien Modern” auf.
